Our organisation’s team currently consists of a small group of dedicated and experienced Yogis.
Swami Mantrikadeva Giri
founder/director, teacher

Initiator and founder of the Varṇamāntrika Yoga Institute, Swami Māntrikadeva Giri is a young & dynamic spiritual leader with a wide and deep spiritual resourcefulness.
His background is in cultural heritage and in music, and he has practised a wide variety of artistic disciplines (e.g. poetry, graphic and exhibition design, sculpture) on the side. These artistic endeavours have always played a vital role in his connection to the spirit-side of life.
As such, it may not come as a surprise that his view has a special emphasis on the relation between matter and spirit. While always retaining an integral approach to Yoga, he feels a strong and loving connection to many of the world’s religious, spiritual and indigenous traditions.
On his path of development, the Raja Yoga approach of Śrī Yogācārya Ajīta Mahārāja, the Theosophy of Alice Bailey & the Tibetan/Djwal Khul and western astrology have been the most significant outside influences.
In the summer of 2024 he has ordained into sannyasa, through the vidvat entrance. He is a father of two and lives in Amsterdam with his fiancee.
acharya Vadasana
teacher

Vādāsana has been involved in the starting up of our organisation since early in the process. She initiates spiritual projects through our platform as well as through her own organisation, Vādapāda.
To students of our organisation, she teaches the courses related to Raja Yoga. Through her firm foundations and her wide mind, she brings a deeply pragmatic and grounded perspective on matters of the spirit. Empowering students to become autonomous practitioners with well-integrated practices.
Her working background is in (mental) health care and social work and whenever her busy family life allows for it she enjoys longboarding, stand up paddle boarding and going out with her dogs.
Spiritually she has learned a lot from the Raja Yoga teachings of Śrī Yogācārya Ajīta Mahārāja, as well as from other contemporary teachers such as Papaji, Mooji, Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer.
